Denali FM offers customized services that enable fiduciaries to raise their plan governance to a best practices standard.

These include the following:

Fiduciary Governance Training

ERISA Fiduciary Governance is a video-based training program offered in conjunction with Financial Executives International (FEI). FEI is the country’s largest association of corporate finance officers with 15,000 members nationwide. The training provides an in-depth look at fiduciary governance today and in the future. This comprehensive course provides executive-level guidance and solutions for the primary challenges ERISA retirement plan fiduciaries face now.

FACS™

FACS™ (Fiduciary Assistance & Compliance Systems) is a fiduciary governance and documentation guidebook designed exclusively for the 401(k) Plan Sponsor. It is printed in an easy to read, color-coded fiduciary-governance-made-easy format. FACS™ comes in two parts; a text section and a documents section. The 170+ pages of documentation represents the foundation of the governance system. The text and documentation have been reviewed by several ERISA attorneys for the consistency of their methods with sound legal principles

The Comprehensive Fiduciary Examination

The Comprehensive Fiduciary Examination

The Comprehensive Fiduciary Examination (CFE) examines both current and historical Plan Sponsor plan management practices. The goal of the CFE is to produce a report that, much like an audit, will be useful in identifying those governance practices that do not exemplify a best practices standard. In addition to drawing distinctions between the current standard and a best practices standard, the CFE will generate a report that seeks to institutionalize a systematic approach to ERISA plan management.

Typically, Denali FM is retained by outside ERISA counsel to conduct the CFE and issue an audit report to the attorney for their review with the Plan Sponsor.
